Strawberry and Kiwi Twin Smoothies
4.6(118 ratings)Some mornings two people want different things, and this pair solves it with shared ingredients. Both smoothies start from the same banana and coconut water base, then split into a sweet red strawberry version and a sharp, speckled green kiwi one. Blend the kiwi smoothie briefly so the black seeds stay whole and do not turn gritty.

Method

Step 1: Blend one banana with half the coconut water, the frozen strawberries and the date until thick and rosy, then pour into the first hurricane glass.
-
Step 2: Rinse the blender, add the remaining coconut water, spinach and lime juice and blend until smooth before adding any of the kiwi.
-
Step 3: Add the peeled kiwis and remaining banana and blend for only 15 to 20 seconds, just until creamy, so the tiny seeds stay whole.
-
Step 4: Pour into the second glass, garnish the strawberry smoothie with a split strawberry on the rim and serve both together on a wooden board.
