Soaked Oat Groat Milk

4.6(864 ratings)

Rolled oats are usually steamed during processing, so for a raw oat milk you want whole oat groats instead. Soaking softens them enough to blend, and a thorough rinse removes the starch that makes some oat milks gloopy. Blend quickly with very cold water and strain twice for a light, clean-tasting glass.
