These four pale birch spoons are shaped by hand and sanded until silky, with shallow bowls that make it easy to see exactly how much oregano, dill or crushed chili you are adding. They sit nicely in open herb jars and look lovely laid out on a prep tray.
We use the smallest spoon for pinches of salt and spice, the middle sizes for dried herbs in dressings, and the largest for chia or flax in overnight puddings. Birch is light, tight-grained and gentle on glass and ceramic, so there is no scraping sound when you scoop.
